Last Tango in Paris by dloraas
Last Tango in Paris
Charcoal-drawing based on a photo by Helios Loo. This was a rather quick drawing (for me that is). Haven't really put that much effort into details - especially her dress... so i'm not so happy with that, but i haven't had the time to draw that much these last months so i preffer to actually finish what i start :)

Size: 45x57cm

Materials: faber-castell compressed charcoal-stick, faber-castell extra-softcharcoal pencil,  a brush, a stump/tortillon, kneaded eraser, tuff stuff eraser-pen, a piece of leather
Time used: around 7 hours -
Paper: Mellotex ULTRA WHITE - brilliant white 250gsm (95lbs)

Your gallery is wonderful. I love using charcoal to draw and you have just shown me the height of what someone skilled with its use may achieve. Thanks for being an inspiration! Clap

Thank you :) funny thing is that i consider myself as quite the novice when it comes to charcoal and don't see my drawings as the hight of anything. Its like learning to play an instrument.. I feel like i've just learn to play my first couple of songs on the piano :D but i'm really glad i Can be a source to inspiration
